Vol. 1
2026

A loud, top-heavy display font built only from rectangles. Heavy blocks up top, thin bars and tiny slots below, and nothing curved anywhere.

01 — Story

It started with a pile of blocks.

Riteblock wasn't planned. It came out of one bored evening, in Ritesh's words below.

  1. 01 · Blocks

“One random evening I was bored, so I started playing around with blocks, just arranging them with no plan.”

  2. 02 · A letter

“Somewhere in the arranging, they turned into a letter.”

  3. 03 · A font

“Then I thought, why not make a whole font system out of it? That's how Riteblock was born.”

Made for brands that like to be loud.

“Since it's blocky, I always saw it on loud branding, on technical and structural brands, and on loud food: pizzas, mustards, chillies and whatnot.”

  • LOUD

    Loud branding

Labels, gigs and campaigns that would rather shout than whisper.

  • BUILT

    Technical and structural

Engineering, architecture and construction. The letters already look bolted together.

  • PIZZA
    MUSTARD
    CHILLI

    Loud food

Pizza boxes, mustard jars, chilli sauce. Anything with a kick.

02 — Type tester

Type your own words.

Lowercase types as caps, so you can't get it wrong.

MAKE IT LOUD

03 — Glyphs

82 glyphs, every one a stack of rectangles.

Pick one to see how it's built. Every edge sits on the same grid: an 80px block, a 24px bar and a 16px slot, inside a letter 240 wide and 160 tall.

05 — In use

Where it belongs.

Anywhere the words are few and need to be seen from across the street. Every mockup below is Ritesh's own, set in Riteblock.

Building with a rose-coloured wall: BLOC set small at the top and MAKE SPACE MATTER stacked large in peach Riteblock, beside a concrete lamp hanging off the facade.
01 Murals and posters. Three stacked words carry the whole wall.
Three magazines fanned out on a concrete slab, each with CREATE in black Riteblock under a blue halftone drawing of a laptop and headphones.
02 Magazine covers. One word holds its own under a busy illustration.
Folded dark green T-shirt on green, printed with A&D in lime Riteblock above EST 2026, with large faded letters cropped at its edges.
03 Merch. It survives screen printing because there are no fine curves to lose.
Open matchbox on maroon: FIRE split over two lines in coral Riteblock above an illustrated burning match.
04 Packaging. A matchbox where the word is as loud as the flame.
Takeaway soda cup with a domed lid and straw, printed with SODA split over two lines in black Riteblock on orange.
05 Takeaway cups. Two letters a line and it still reads at a glance.
